Has any one tried boonville Hop Ottin IPA?

I tried this tasty little beverage this evening and loved it!  Its a very hopy (which was expected) IPA with a crisp citrus finish.  Nice clear Carmel color.  It had a smaller head, but sustatined well throughout the pint.  The ABV for this IPA is 7%.  I found this brew at Macadoodles in Joplin MO.  Hopefully, you guys can find it in St. Louis too!  Try it and let me know what you think.  Its a good one, but not as good as Odells IPA.

  1. I had a Sam Adams from Mahones in St. Louis that sustained its head REAL well. it left rings/lines on the glass after each sip. It was like cutting down a tree...

  4. dude, i totally drank me down some hop ottin this past summer in philadelphia. i remember dearly loving it. i had two big draughts on tuesday afternoon, loving it so much that i walked the mile back to the pub the next day only to find that the keg has been switched out. it was a pretty beer. i wanted to stare into it like fire. i'm glad to know that the hop ottin is available in the midwest, even if i am in the middle of tex-ass.
